CEFF SIMULATORS ADAPTED TO NEW RAIL REGULATIONS

jun 28, 2017

CITEF has developed several railway training simulators for the European Railway Training Centre (CEFF), founded in 2013.

The simulators were created to provide training on Spain’s General Traffic Regulations (RGC) for railways, which were recently modified, broadened and renamed the Railway Traffic Regulations (RCF).

To keep the simulators up to date and be able to provide the best possible training, CEFF contracted CITEF to adapt them to the latest regulations.

CITEF has made all the changes required to all the training scenarios, adapting them to the new RCF. The regulations set out new requirements regarding the positioning of balises warning of speed restrictions, changes to the names and appearance of signals, and new speed restrictions. They also abolish the job title of rail traffic controller.
