In this post we share a series of training videos on the highly realistic driving and traffic simulator we have built in conjunction with the European Centre of Railway Training (CEFF).
The project was launched in the first quarter of 2014 and comprises two freight locomotive driving simulators and a post for the instructors responsible for training management and supervision.
The following videos show the real-time operation of the simulator from the traffic control and instructor post and from that of the student.
Video 1: Train simulator (closed stations) – Part 1.
Description: Actual practices in the CEFF railway simulator. Review of Article 461 RGC – closed stations. How to proceed on the journey.
Video 2: Train simulator (closed stations) – Part 2

Video 3: Railway simulator: CTC post (Centralized Traffic Control) and presentation of student post.
Description: In this video, the CEFF shows us the features of its train driving simulator, comprising the CTC (Centralized Traffic Control) and student posts.
This simulator is a basic tool for training new drivers and for recycling experienced drivers. Students find themselves in the situations that could arise while driving on a variety of scenarios and under different driving conditions.
